Tropic Island Resort

Great place to stay! Very friendly staff! I appreciated all the extra variety of pillows. We had plenty of towels and enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the porch. Pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and they sell snow cones at the pool!

I stay in my camper for 2 months every year and always feel very welcome and safe. Which is improtant as a woman staying by yourself. I have stayed there off and on in the summers for about the last 10 years. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. Gave the rooms 4 stars only because in the 2 bedrooms rentals, the middle rooms tends to get hot in the summer as it really does not get good circulation. They may have been fixed since I stayed in them a number of years ago, not sure. Otherwise, I always enjoy my stay and hate going home.

Our stay was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Loved the comfy bed and the variety of pillows! Also had plenty of towels! Felt very safe, the location is conveniently located to everything and we really enjoyed the porch rocking chairs and cute table in front of our room!

I highly recommend Tropic Island Resort! We stayed 5 nights and were perfectly comfortable our entire stay. Great price, convenient location, and nice clean cottage. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great and the kitchen covered all our basic needs. The pool was cool and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

We just stayed two nights in a hotel with 2 queen beds, the staff was great and the amenities they offered were fantastic. The rooms were smaller than I expected and I wish the shower set up was done differently. It was very hard showering especially with young kids and not getting the entire bathroom floor soaked every time due to how low the shower frame is and the shower curtain not going far enough down. We had cleaning staff come in to our room at 10:30 trying to clean when check out wasn’t until 11 but could have been a honest Mistake. Definitely would stay here again but a different room knowing how small the hotel rooms were.
