The site itself was clean. However, there was no one in the booth to greet anyone and the signs on the windows said no day passes. I just needed a parking space for one day for one car. I ended up paying for a campsite that was close to the rental. Later on in the day, I saw a sign further into the park that read day pass 7 dollars.
I called the number on the entrance booth and left a message. No one returned my call. We did end up using the site; so, I was no longer interested in a refund. However, not one time in the hours we were there did we see even one employee.

Love the location of site 12 with its view and access to the lake. Has plenty of room for our travel trailer. Just wished for more accountability of campers, no attendant on duty is posted.

Beautiful place to visit and stay but unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy it. When I arrived to my site there was another camper occupying not only my spot he also took up another spot. I could have asked the present camper on my site but they where no where to be found. I called the number at the gate for assistance but they said to call Recreation site number and they said to call the park so I short no one could help me. I ended up leaving without a site or a refund. I will try again in the future because again it was a nice place. Just sad I couldn’t enjoy it.

This site (19) shares a 4 way water spigot located between sites 18 and 17. So, a long water hose is necessary. 2 of the 4 showers in the public bath house did not have hot water during our stay. The sites and campground were fairly clean.

We have been camping here over 25 years.
We love it. Just curious we don’t see the camp hosts. No one mans the gate, anyone could come in the camp ground.

Camping out on the peninsula the views were fantastic. It was very windy but the weather changes. Plenty of water front areas to take the dog. Nice concrete pads and site. Typical rural state park, no amenities other than water/electricity and a dump station. The sites have a nice fire ring, picnic table and grill. Bathroom with flush toilets and showers. Didn’t know stainless steel could rust like that. We’ll definitely plan another trip.

Clean, very good shade where we were. Fairly easy to back in. Good picnic table, and table for grill. Was enjoyable three days.

Love site #2. This place is more than just a campsite to my family - feels like home here at site 2 :)
