The park needs more oversight from rangers and needs hosts. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you can keep the rude ones at bay.

Absolutely, the best campground on the Preston Peninsula!
My belief it closes too soon for the winter season.

The most beautiful view to wake up to. Site 34 was ours for four days and three nights. We had a blast!! Everyone around was sooooo wonderful and welcoming. Really mellow campsite and we’d definitely go back. Our neighbors RV caught fire and everyone all over camp pitched in to help. What a great community and place. We really love Preston Bend!

Thr ants at our campsite when we arrived were out of control. By the next morning the inside of our camper was infested. Note to bring ant traps and spray. Otherwise the bathrooms were pretty clean and it was a nice view. I will note the boat ramp is very skinny. Also, we stayed in site 26 and the spots around us all have limited parking so if you have 2 vehicles or large RV's it's a challenge. We will definitely go back here.

Preston Bend use to be a great spot to vacation . In the last 3 years it has become an open haven for anyone to come in without reservations.
#1) No one at gate and people arrive and take over any empty space they can find . The boat ramp area especially. They park and go down to the beach. No room left for those who reserve to launch their boat and have a space to trailer it to
2) Free loaders come in and destroy the bathrooms . Ask Robert, he knows
3) Boats tie up at the dock for days. Hard to dock your boat and tie up and go move your truck off the ramp.
4) Corp finally put up signs to stop people from pulling way up on the grass in front of the 3 sites by the boat ramp. They totally block your water view and are encroaching on your rented site.
5) New VEBO built that people can come down a small slope with their ATV and run around the campground . Not street legal and very loud !
Please make this area great again !
Every bit of money that the Corp is losing from hundreds of people not paying to launch their boats could have been used to out the metal canopies over every site. So overlooked and not attended to as other corp lake campgrounds on Texoma

We love camping here. We try and get the same spot every time. The only issue we would have is, not enough beach area
