Space was totally infested with sugar ants which then infested our rv and boat.

Nice quiet location. The entrance is very steep, literally watched a 4x4 truck with a 20+ ft camper have to be pulled out by another truck. Gravel was too lose to get up. Long rv’s I would stay away from this spot.

Second time staying at Preston Bend and it never disappoints! Campsites aren’t too close to each other, beautiful scenery, primitive sites are nice and quiet, shower houses are amazing. I love how close the water is and we will definitely be back!

Was disappointed park ranger or host wasn’t on site. Or even had an after hours number for issues. The site across from us partied all night long with their 3 vehicles alarms going off on purpose and headlights on and even at one point hearing 2 guys start fighting. That same group left a lot of trash at the beach swim area.

Weekends are busy here, but that is to be expected.
The camp hosts checked on everyone during/after high winds and thunderstorms which I thought was very considerate.
Rocks have been added to preserve the cliff areas and access to beaches were improved, one area had a new walkway and concrete stairs to the beach. Several campsites have new tables and concrete pads.
Clean restrooms and showers. Dock and boat ramp are well maintained.
Get your reservations in early!
