Campground was great! It was a little windy the weekend we were there but we had a great time and will definitely be back in the future.

I had a premium spot with 30amp and water. But the view was worth a million bucks. The ants are a problem but the view was fantastic.

Were I was camping at in the park it almost looked like a RV resort, a very pleasant experience. The park did have some campsites that were secluded and I think I'll try them next time I visit

The lake view was great because no other campers came In while we stayed. Dump station was barricaded so we weren’t able to dump before leaving. Lots of machinery work going on while we were there. We enjoyed our stay but will wait till next season to return. Maybe upgrades will be completed.

Over all the site was good. We had some issues with no water for a few days after a broken water line. The rangers brought some hoses so we could fill our water tank. We made the most of our time with this inconvenience. When I went to dump my portable tank the waste dump backed up. I attributed it to the four inches of rain the day before. We found out the tanks were not emptied for several years. The tanks were emptied the day we left. The waste dump backed up some so probably there are some old field lines there. We were there for ten days and had a few good days of weather but several days the winds were so high our trailer was shaking. We still consider site #32 the best spot in the park since we stayed there in the spring or fall. With no trees at this spot it will be hot in the summer time. It still has great views. The dock was convenient for fishing and deploying our kayak.

No happy that restroom and showers are torn down. Does not look like they are putting back if not looks like we find another place to go. Hard when you are tent sleeping.
