It was very nice. Love the spot we stayed in. My Favorite place. Glad to see work being done there to improve the bathroom/showers.

We enjoy our visits to Preston Bend. However, since the park entrance is unmanned, the number of "day users" is outrageous. The point was full of people there for the day, some even staying overnight in their vehicles. I would suggest trying to get back to a manned entrance, or giving the park hosts the authority to take care of the problem.

Great site as the lake view is awesome. Robert, the host, was always coming around to check on the park. He does a great job of keeping people who are not supposed to be there, out of the park.
The only issue was the dumpster/port-a-pottys were close and the flies were absolutely horrible. Never was able to eat one meal outside.

Campsite was nice. Fishing was good. Very peaceful in the evenings and night.
The camp host made this trip horrible. Seems to me he is out looking for trouble. He was very rude, and the power of being camp host has went to his head.

the area is not kept clean, there is no one on the gate, the plug in on the power pole did not work and no one came by for you to report the problems to. it appears there needs to be someone on the gate to check who is entering and leaving.

Site #12 is perfect. I wish Site #13 was open so my friend could have stayed in the same area as me. The internet connection is super-fast there. There were a bunch of drunk people in the site I was supposed to check into but I lucked out that 12 was available; it's the best site in the park.
Latrines were nice and clean, the park host/ranger in charge of them does an excellent job. Will stay there again! (Lots of ants though, bring Wondercide.)

I lucked out and got the best spot in the entire park. And the bathroom latrine was very clean, the host who cleans it is very hard-working and does a great job. I will come back again! Also, the internet was fast as Lightning. On my Verizon phone.
