We have always enjoyed camping at pat mayas west, but the last few times the grass hasn't been mowed. My husband got a weed eater and weedeated the grass around our campsite.

I’ve been coming to Pat Mayse for over 20 years and it is by far my favorite lake to visit. Thank you all for keeping the place up.

We have stayed here before and always enjoy it. The lake is fun to fish and not tons of recreational boats running around. The RV sites are extremely unlevel to the extent that we actually couldn't get our 5th wheel lever, even though the front was sitting on the way on the ground. Neighbors refused to keep their dog on a leash and consequently delivered some special "packages" to our site. Same neighbors had claimed the lake front access for 4 separate sights as their own, setting up chairs, canopies, lights, and boats blocking us and the other 2 sites from using the water front, unless we were rude and walked through their accessories, which we chose not to do. All in all we had a great time, still enjoy this park, and rude neighbors who stay the max time they are allowed before they are forced to move to a new sight will not keep up away.

An abundance of birds, small furies, snakes, and spiders, all of which, were hoping to be encountered. Not many hiking trails, though. Additionally, the water faucets, weren't rather vaccinial to the sires, and it could behoove one to bring an extra-long hose. And property left at site, during a supply run, disappeared.
