Easy access to park and camping area. Lake was easily accessible as well and inviting. Road in and around campsites needs better marked directions. The roads are tight and if you have never been there could easily get in sticky situation, especially if your rig is big or long.

Quiet; close to places to eat out; beautiful lake; Dollar General close for supplies; place nearby for fishing bait, etc

We had a great time biking the Berber Hills Trails. We camped in the B lot and some of the sites are concrete and level. Ours was not, but it wasn’t to bad. Next time I will make sure to get a concrete slab.

This is a lovely campground. We had a beautiful spot and the view was wonderful. The only drawback we found was the showers it hadn't been cleaned in some time and there was no where in the shower to set your toiletries. A shelf would be great.

The facility was clean and well kept. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The weather was not kind(it rained) so we did not get to hike like we planned. Overall, a good trip.

We stayed on C loop Sanders cove. The bathrooms were "out of order" due to waste buildup..talked to gate people working and was told it had been that way for a month!!! It was nasty in there!! Tried to have a cookout but guests didn't have clean restrooms. Supposedly it isn't going to be repaired due to Corp of Engineers not having enough funds in their budget. That is what we were told! Pat Mayse lake is a nice lake and well used...They should do better!! We were embarrassed to tell our guests you can't use the bathrooms.
Thank you and please repair the bathrooms!

We really enjoy coming to this campground. We love the abundance of trees and the ability to see our friends in the camp next to us. It is very open concept and that’s great especially if you have kids. The only drawback are the pit toilets and showers. Both are always nasty.
