What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

We had a great time at Sanders Cove. The Park was clean and well kept and the spaces are a nice distance apart. Nice concrete pad for RV. We will definitely camp here again!

Park was nice, well maintained except for an abundance of dry leaves. Visitors were constantly leaf blowing! It was concerning in terms of fires. Sites were really close together. Area was pretty, obviously well shaded for summer months. I will say however, there was no park attendant upon check-in, or check out. In addition, we never once saw a park ranger or truck drive around. We did have a major problem with a neighbor that allowed their 2 small yippee dogs to bark NON-STOP, AM-PM. It was ridiculous!! Another neighbor yelled over to them, more than once, to shut their dogs up. However, they didn't seem to care they were disturbing the entire area. Needless to say, not a very peaceful stay!!! No-one present at or around the park to go to regarding the issue. We will probably try to visit again since it's only an hour & 1/2 from home. Will try a different site though. We didn't get an opportunity to drive around, to check out other loops or sites.

Our stay here was wonderful! The site, although close to our neighbors, was gorgeous! There were hiking trails close by and our pups love every bit!

Our site was just as expected. Secluded along the shore where our dog could enjoy the water. It was a wonderful fall weekend where we could enjoy the outdoors and each other.
It would be nice if the site pads could be upgraded to level concrete but I doubt the budget would call for it over the past few years. Either way, a wonderful place to stay.

Be sure to bring portable dump station if you have an RV. Bathroom/bathhouse was not the best
