Terrific staff-one of the friendliest we’ve encountered and that’s matched only by the beauty of the lake and surrounding area. All the campsites allow for some view of the lake. It’s quiet, family friendly and has boar ramps and playground areas for the kids.
The cons: One of the two restrooms is in really bad shape. The other has been renovated to a degree but is single use. The shower is great, though. And speaking of sewage - the few sites with sewer hookups were poorly designed. Let’s just say water doesn’t run uphill very well. Use some ingenuity when hooking up. You’ll need it.
We will stay there again next time we visit family in the area. It’s a keeper despite the lack of facilities.

This park is my favorite in the area because of the quality of the camp sites, plenty of trees, and one of the best lakes around. Park staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful.
