The grounds could be a little better kept but due to government cut backs I know it is hard. The contract grounds keepers do a fine job. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Wish they didn't close for the winter. Hosts were very nice. Park was well kept.

We moved to Arkansas about 4 years ago from Texas we used to go to Piney Point alot when we were in Texas. Love this park alot of fun memories. Will definitely be going back again.

From Texarkana, take Highway 59 south to Wright Patman Lake. Just south of Sulphur River Dam, turn right into the park area, following signs. Proceed one mile to the park. Piney Point is just north of Rocky Point Park.

Gatehouse hours: Monday through Saturday (11 am - 7 pm), and Sunday (1 pm - 7 pm). Park access gates will be left open during these hours, but will be closed outside of these times. Only campers and visitors with access codes will be allowed entrance when the gatehouse is closed. |

Golf carts will be allowed to operate in the park only if the operator can display a disability placard. Permits will be issued by park rangers upon display of proper credentials. Copies of the Ft. Worth District policy on motorized vehicles are available at the gatehouse. |
