Perfect. Grass was mowed and sites were cleaned. Gate attendant actually stopped me and spoke this time.

Sadly we were there for only one night as a quick, cheaper than a hotel stay on our long drive from Illinois to the gulf. We will definitely remember this place for another family trip. It is 10 hours away from us but we will return.

The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. The campgrounds were well maintained. The view from our site was amazing. Some site aren't meant for tents but we made it work for the night. The playground was nice, newer, and clean. Staff we encountered was nice and friendly. Over all it was a great experience! Looking forward to planning a longer stay and actually getting out on the lake and and on the trails!
