Stayed in mid-May and weather was warming up to mid-80s. This is our fourth visit--we usually stop here on our way to Arkansas (which is quite beautiful). During our stay, we saw many birds throughout the day and deer at dusk. We took the hike from Rocky Point to Piney Point which was lovely. Piney Point campground was smaller and quiet--very nice. The staff was friendly and campground was clean and well-maintained. Couldn't ask for more.
