Loved this campground. Sites are level, adequate water pressure, and clean campground. Being there the 4th of July weekend, the park was packed but stayed clean. Park host were nice and full of great information.

It is a nice place but I would have thought it would have been maintained. There was cobwebs and leaves on the inside and on the tables.

We have stayed there numerous times. Easy access off of Hwy 59 near Texarkana. Park host have always been very courteous. Sites are spacious and spread out. Don't expect to have great cell reception though.
During our last two visits the ENTIRE park could definitely use some grass mowing and general grounds maintenance. It appeared that they were only mowing a few feet off each side of the road and just around the common areas (?). I'm not in to the 'Wilderness' look. It could be so much more if they'd just mow everything...and regularly (weekly).
