Nice views. Beach wasn’t bad, especially for a Texas lake. Bathrooms were not maintained unfortunately. Lot sizes were good and spacing not bad.

Shade cover most of the day until middle/late afternoon. Two trees on the camper entrance side that might be tight for longer campers. Pad runs downhill to the road, so extra blocking may be needed.

That lady at the gate house named Tammy is top notch! She needs a raise, a company truck and her own personal helicopter. She really is THAT good! Thanks Tammy for making our stay at Rocky Point a really nice experience. And if they do give you a helicopter will you take us for a ride???

We like this place and enjoy staying here, but this trip the power kept going off. It might stay off 5 minutes or several hours. Then sometimes it would come back on and everything was fine and others it would trip my surge protector and I would have to go reset it. When we question the staff about it they didn't seem to know what was going on and one even didn't know that the power had gone out anytime.
