Lovely park! Really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I can say is some money needs to be spent on the restrooms/showers and maybe even widen the roads a little.

Rocky Point (Wright Patman Dam) is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained setting, spacious and shaded campsites, and friendly staff, creating a peaceful atmosphere for families. Many visitors enjoy the abundance of wildlife, particularly deer, and scenic sunsets over the lake. While some amenities, like restrooms and swimming areas, could use improvement, overall experiences are positive, with guests expressing a desire to return.

Very nice clean and quiet. We were only needing a place to stay while attending a local funeral for a family member.

The men’s bathrooms are very nasty, dirty, no toilet paper, hand soap, and no paper towels. I informed the front office and they told me that they have a service that does the bathrooms. The Park is great.

My new favorite park. Had a waterside slot. Nice facility.

Great time, sadly the APP and Web-site indicated a full camp site with no openings, we were however 1 of 14 campers in the park all weekend. We had some friends and family that weren't able to join us because of this. Also, I have written several emails and spoken to camp hosts and ACOE rangers/officers asking that a light be placed at the play area-play ground, kids want to play and with the sunsetting so early there is still lots of play time, but it is dark there. Please consider adding safety and security lights here.
