if it's busy you aren't going to have much privacy, but it's far out enough that it's not often busy

The national lands are beautiful, the trail I went on was clearly marked. The campground was nice (what I expect with national campgrounds—they don’t have many amenities but the bathroom with flush toilet was clean and warm!). The park rangers were extremely nice and helpful. It was just a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and I’d love to go back. The only regret I have is that the electric outlet outside the park office didn’t work. I would have loved to use that for my kettle. But otherwise it was superb.

The campsites were very well maintained. They are pretty remote, which we liked, but that means there are few amenities and it is a long drive to get supplies if needed.

Nice campground. Heated restrooms. WiFi at visitor center. Love all the mule deer in camp. Tight quarters for RVers but it was still great.
