Schatziland RV Resort

This is a really nice and clean RV Resort! The amenities are well maintained and their dog park is fantastic!!! We have stayed here 3 times in the last 3 years and it has actually gotten better over the past 3 years as the trees and grass have grown. The lake has filled in nicely, and the employees are all super friendly and helpful!! We will definitely back!!

Looking for a future full time park and came across this park. Just wow wow wow. April waited on us and answered every question we had honestly and professionally. The park is just plain beautiful, paved roads, multiple bath houses throughout park, dog parks and even a fishing pond. Fifteen minutes to san marcos and Walmart an tractor supply. We have doing the RV life for 13 years and this park ranks up as one of the best, both park and dollar wise

Update after spending a few days in the park i definitely won't give it five stars maybe three. For a fairly new park it is definitely run down. Multiple long term residents with window ac units. Many rv with so much stuff under them you can't see daylight. There is a 5th whl with the back cap falling off. Alot of sites haven't been mowed for a long time seeing it hasn't rained in a month. The 5 mph speed limit is a joke. If I spent 10 million dollars on this place I'd be upset. It appears the park is mainly workers living there

The dog park is large and pleasant with a pond in the midst of it. Very nice.
Friendly staff and neighbors help create an inviting atmosphere. I love that there are trees and a picnic table stew in each lot.
My dog and I are loving it here, very much.
My only complaint would be that there is this lovely pool to enjoy but getting in and out safely for handicapped is problematic. There is a chair but I have yet to find anyone that knows how to use it, which is kind of odd.
Overall, nine out of ten!

Well maintained, easy access, large concrete sites, great customer service, perfect location, quiet. The dog park that circles the pond is outstanding! Workout room and equipment best we’ve used in a rv park. Wonderful concrete walking path.

Shatziland is a large RV resort. It has a beautiful pool and bar (think beer garden) situated under a beautiful tree. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Like most large campgrounds it has a large number of full time residents. It could benefit from enforcing maintenance standards on them as many of the full timers look a bit overgrown. I think this place has all of the components to be a 5 star resort if there was a bit more attention to small details. Note: We were taken over with ants. (There was no food source, those guys just came in and were in our clothing, closets and they were mean.) We will likely come back armed with ant mitigation.
