Rivercity RV Park

We planned a family vacation months ago. We planned our get away with 2 other families. We had reservations at another RV resort. We arrived at the original destination and they didn't have our sites available. Without going into the disappointing facts that took place, we ended up leaving and googled other RV parks. Rivercity was one of the first parks to pop up. We called and spoke to the manager, Amber. She informed us that she had enough sites to accommodate all 3 families. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to answer all our questions, after hours, was excellent. Upon arriving, Amber greeted us at our sites. She made sure we had the codes and important information on how to access their amenities. It was after 8:00 PM when we arrived. The sites were paved and roomy. They had amenities that were perfect for family fun. Amber gave us a quick tour and run down of what they had to offer. The customer service displayed exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel at home. All the frustrations that had transpired earlier were non-existent due to the hospitality that was given. She was a God send. One suggestion I have is to add more lighting around the park, especially the dog park and office building. We had a great time and plan on returning again, someday. I want to thank the manager for caring about us!

No hot water and low pressure in bathrooms. One laundry room and shower facility closed, that leaves 2 showers and 4 or 5 washers and dryers. Water quality is atrocious. Boil the water and there is a film on top and sediment at the bottom. Water frequently turned off. Tenants allowed to have junk scattered all around their rvs even after complaints. Management changes frequently and is often missing. Registered s.o. onsite. Pool is small and frequently dirty. Signed- Not a happy camper.

I spent over a year living in this RV park. This is the best RV park that I have been to so far. It's right on the I-35 right between New Braunfels and San Marcos. The staff are super friendly; Maribel was extremely nice and helpful. Same as the other lady who used to work over the weekend as well as the grounds guy; Mikey (not sure about his name but he was super nice!)

They have a nice clean swimming pool which residents don't go to often, therefore I always found myself sipping cold drinks and sunbathing by myself. Restrooms are clean and well-taken care off. All facilities were top notch including the laundry, the gym and rec room.

Spoiler alert: I was there when the place changed ownership and I am not sure how the new owners are running it. But what I liked most was the staff who worked there. They were wonderful!

All in all my stay was awesome and I can't wait to go back. I hope the trees have grown taller. I love the shade.

Good place to stay that is futher off the highway unlike several others around the area. I had picked a pull through spot by the office but those were very unlevel. Fortunately they had an opening in the back are that was really nice. The pool is not heated. The showers are clean. Way to many speed bumps going in and out.

We loved our time there (3 months). We stayed on the newer side with their extremely long and double wide paved sites. Two very large dog parks (located between the old and new side). Our Goldendoodles need room to run and play ball and these fit the bill very well. The grass throughout the property is well maintained. The new Manager, Diana, is so refreshing. She enforces the property rules and is accessible. The laundry room provides 5 washers/dryers, but we rarely had problems with availability. You’ll love that this park is away from congestion yet close to both New Braunfels and San Marcos.
