The Oaks at High Hill in Schulenburg, Texas was absolutely incredible to work with for this wedding. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Huge shoutout to Kim, Presley, Seth, and Caleb for being over accommodating, professional, friendly, and truly caring throughout the entire event.

One of the biggest advantages was having everything indoors for us while still getting the beauty and atmosphere of an indoor/outdoor wedding venue. The property perfectly blends country, rustic charm with elegant modern touches all at the same time. From the spacious bar area to the large dance floor, dining space, and massive celebration hall, the venue is designed beautifully for weddings and large gatherings.

The on-site lodging options were also fantastic and made it so convenient for guests to stay and enjoy the celebration without worrying about travel. The venue itself is remote, peaceful, quiet, and isolated in the best way possible — creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding weekend.

If you are looking for a venue that combines Texas Hill Country charm with modern elegance and a staff that genuinely cares, The Oaks at High Hill is a top-tier choice. Highly recommend!

Our hearts are so full after celebrating our daughter’s wedding this past weekend at The Oaks at High Hill 🤍

We chose the 3-day package, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. It gave us the gift of time—time to decorate, to slow down, and most importantly, to be fully present with our family and friends who traveled to celebrate with us.

We arrived on Wednesday and spent the day getting everything just right while visiting with loved ones. Thursday was our rehearsal day, and it could not have been more perfect. We had the sweetest “rehearsal lunch” with a crawfish boil at the cabins, followed by rehearsal that afternoon, and then a beautiful welcome party on the patio that evening. A caterer was provided, great entertainment, and even better company—it was such a special time.

And then came Friday… the most perfect day. Everything was seamless, joyful, and full of love.

Hiring Kym as our day-of coordinator was hands down one of the best decisions we made. She kept everything running smoothly so we could truly soak in every moment. We are beyond grateful for her and her incredible team.

Kym, Presley, Rob, Seth, and Kaleb—thank you for your kindness, your hard work, and for going above and beyond to make this weekend so special. You all played such a big part in making this celebration unforgettable.

I have visited this venue on many occasions! Weddings, private events and community events. The elegant atmosphere is always bright & clean. The grounds are pristine! If you ever have a chance to experience an outdoor wedding ceremony under the massive oak tree, do it, it is stunningly beautiful! The staff is fun, friendly & very helpful. I myself have hosted a private event here a few times now & it is always such a smooth process! I look forward to my next visit!

My niece had her wedding here in Sept 13th and she couldn't have picked a prettier venue. They had cabins for the wedding party, a place for the bridal party to get ready, amazing grounds and the wedding itself took place outside under this beautiful, huge Oak Tree. Afterwards, while the wedding party took pics, we went around to the patio for cocktail hour. Then we went inside for dinner and dancing. The food was excellent and the staff very focused and efficient. Everything went smoothly from the first dance, bouquet toss and garter toss, ending with a sparkler send off for the bride and groom, now a married couple, down the sidewalk. I'm not sure if the pricing or exactly what's included in the wedding package, but it seemed to be a huge selection of options right in one place. Lovely and touching event I was glad to have been invited to attend. It looked like a fairy tale!
