What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

We love camping at Rocky Creek. We love seeing all the wildlife. The scenery is so beautiful. There are stickers in the grass, so make sure you always have shoes on and watch your dogs paws. It would be nice to have a shaded cover on all sites, but I see how hard they are still working to replace damage from the flood after all these years. I would really love to see a playground put in for the grand kids. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but they try hard to keep them clean.

Loved how big the RV spaces were and how pristine the park was kept. However, upgrade on the dump station area would be great if you could enter from either side and still be on the sewer hook up and not have to make a sharp turn with a very large RV. It would increase the ease of getting in and out of the dump station. It’s just a suggestion, not a problem.

Site #81 was very level and huge. We had a great view of the water. The grill looked brand new. It's a great park to walk around. Very serene. Bathrooms were clean.

65 was a beautiful site backing up to a small grass area in front of the beach. The view was incredible. Very well maintained park, though the bathrooms were spider infested.

Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic place to relax outdoors. The campground sits on a peninsula along the lake, our campsite had a great view of the water. One of the things we enjoyed the most about Rocky Creek is how quiet it feels compared to busier parks. It’s a great place to unplug, enjoy the lake, watch the sunrise, or just relax by the water.

The park is nice, beautiful lake, but the bathhouse needs serious attention. Old is fine, but it should be clean.
