Only traveling through, and stayed one night but was perfect!
Very nice, and clean campground . Quiet and view of the lake was a plus!
We’re senior card holders, so 1/2 price didn’t hurt either!

We left Willis Creek during the vice storm came here early. Very nice helpful gate host. The area is very well groomed. Nice hiking trails.

Rocky Creek has beautiful, large sites. The lake was down when we visited but it was still beautiful. We saw quite a few deer, and a wide variety of birds. Rocky Creek has plenty of trails and the Park Host was patroling regularly.

From Austin, Texas, take US 290 east to Brenham. Follow HWY 36 north 11.5 miles to FM 1948. Turn left on FM 1948 and follow 5 miles to the park entrance.
