Nice park with great camp hosts but beware the Fire Ants and the Stickers.
Numerous fire ant mounds around our campsite, but I didn't notice any on the wood I moved until my hand started burning.
It took a full week of Benadryl & Pepcid (histamine blocker) tablets along with Cortizone/Benadryl cream to recover from their bites.

Clean camp ground and bathrooms. Very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights even though it rained all day on our first night. Lots of closed off sections but the place is huge so you will not feel cheated. Saw lots of deers :)

Had a great 3 night stay in site #60, right on the lake! Sites were well spaced and level. Only part of the sites were open in February, not sure if that is winter policy or permanent.

If you come into your park with a big trailer like our 43 foot toy hauler there are a few branches that are issues and very tight getting in and out of the dump station other than that we loved it

Most favorite corp of engineer part this far and we've stayed in many. Massive deer in the area. One night hundreds of pelicans swam up the river. Our site number 6 had a beautiful view.
