What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Great experience at Rocky Creek. Clean and well maintained park. Many deer in the park. Excellent hike and bike trails. Our visit was after peak season so many of the prime and water front sites were closed. Grass burrs everywhere so difficult to find a clear area to walk the dogs without stopping every few minutes to stop and pick stickers out of their paws. Despite this we will be visiting the park again.

This place was great very clean and the staff was super friendly they went around to give all the kids a baggie with activities in it. The only down side of it was that there were so many stickers so the kids kept getting stuck but other then that the kids had fun and they want to go again

Great place to stay! If you like to fish, you can do so from the shore or by boat if you have one. Lots and lots of deer. Nice walking path. A lot of the park was closed. Some of it I think was closed because of time of year but not sure. We were there late Nov. The Texas Cotton Gin was a great tour. Blue Bell Creamy isn't too far either.

We've stayed at numerous ACOE parks in the past. This was ,by far, one of our favorites! Nicely maintained, great hosts, groomed hiking trails, great facilities and abundant wildlife. We will return when back in the area. We are full-timers in a Sprinter Van as we loop the country again.

Nice wide and long spots typical of most govt parks. Good power and water. High quality charcoal grills. Trees need trimming to accommodate the heights of RV.

Nice quiet campground. Excellent hosts and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake, activities in town (Brenham & College Station) as well as the ease of finding everything there. Highly recommended.

The quiet time was not observed by most. I left a day early and also I saw some guy gathering wood to burn.
