We stayed for four nights. Had a very nice view of the lake. It was tight getting into our spot and the other sites are tight also. They have signs all over the place about not gathering firewood and to bring your own. The campsite behind us had went out and gathered firewood from the park. Was looking around and noticed that one of the campsites had a lot of stuff and a freezer set up outside. They were not camp hosts. Just odd to see at a COE park.

We have stayed in this campground many times. It is a great place to escape from Houston. It is on a large lake with spectacular sunsets every evening.

The restrooms really need to be updated. They were dark, even during a sunny day. Campsite was clean. The nature trail was a nice easy walk. We had great sunsets also!

Yegua Creek Park at Somerville Lake is one of our favorite camping grounds. We camp there often over Spring and Fall. Especially love seeing all of the deer.

Good park, decent campsites, bathrooms good but kind of remote. Lack of trails near campground.

Staff hosts very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We were welcomed on every entrance with smiling, happy staff.
Slight problem with 50 amp service on site 2. We did good on 30 amp circuit.
Always enjoy Yegua Park RV spaces. Will return!

Great little COE park with nice views of the lake. Park hosts were wonderful. It only has one hiking trail but you can go over to the sister park and hike the trails there.
