Nice and quiet. Dump station is really close to building and at a bad angle.
Girl needs to clean bathroom instead of poring cleaner and leaving.
Also they could pressure wash the spider webs down.
All she did while we were there was blare profanity filled so called music very loudly and empty trash. Oh and drive too fast!!!

Nice quiet campground with elec and water for only $20. The tents only area looked even nicer. Quiet with few other campers while we were there in April. Bathrooms are no so great. Rusty the caretaker is great however, what a nice guy. I'd give it more stars if the place was in better condition. Built by the WPA in the 1930's and looks like it hasn't seen a lot of care since :(

Sweetwater Lake was over a mile from the campground, checking in was a bit tricky due to absence of adequate signage. While the site itself was level, gravel with some grass, a bit of shade from mature Mesquite trees, a stationary picnic table, electric and water on site. The restroom facilities were abysmal... No showers, mirror, vanity, towels or hand dryer. There is a Amphitheatre in a state of disrepair which has rich history. The only form of payment accepted was cash, 20.00 per night when we stayed. Not the worst campground, not the best either.

The good: quiet at night if the wind isn't blowing, it's relatively inexpensive at $15 a night for water and power.
The bad: poor signage/lack of map from golf course office, burrs and stickers around, Verizon signal is a little weak (still works though)
The ugly: the trash cans make tremendous noise in the wind, the sewer pipe on the bath house is broke and the dump station is ghetto.

Quiet spacious park. We had water and 50 amp for only $15/night. Only a few minutes from I-20.
Lots are gravel with lots of grass, some more level than others. The grass was low but if you’re looking for a well-manicured park this is not it!
You pay for your stay at the golf course then backtrack a couple miles to the campground. The staff were lovely!
You pick your own spot! We would stay here again, very convenient for an overnight stop.
I took off one ⭐️ due to no T-Mobile service.
