Great camping site, except the fact the public restroom was far and only driving to it makes sense

Our stay was excellent. The staff was very personable. We will definitely be back. We have our family reunion here annually.

Clean and quiet. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. We were in B06.

We were camping when the guard at clear springs got fired. I feel it wasn’t justified. He was stopping people from coming into the camp after hours. We have had things stolen in years past. So we appreciate someone doing their job. If you don’t follow the law then why have the gates or the gatekeepers.

Beautiful sites; kind of close together and packed in like cord wood. Most sites are electric and water hookup but no sewer. Park seems to be ok with golf carts; electric bikes; electric scooters; motorized wheelchairs; etc. Be very aware of kids on the roads with their bikes; scooters; skateboards; etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Clear Springs. We stayed at site B01 and had a nice view of the water. My only complaint is that the sites are too close for my liking.

If you would like to camp at a very well kept campground this is it! From RV, tent, or even try one of 3 shelters they offer...... You won't be disappointed!
If you are looking for the the things that scream camping this place has it all. Trails, fishing, boating, campfires..... Plus the various wildlife displayed on a daily.
I have lived near this place for 10 years and wasn't aware of how amazing this spot is. So is driving around and accidentally ran into this particular part of the lake I was going to. My GPS took me a different route then what I thought I was going to and found clear springs. Tucked away off the road, but close enough to town to get whatever you may need.
The people at the gate are very kind The entire area is clean well kept and just amazing. I will try to get there as often as I can it's so good!
Prices are reasonable The landscape is beautiful and the wildlife ..... Bald eagles, ducks of various kinds, crane, deer (lots of deer just hanging out) and I've been told to watch out for the occasional alligator I didn't see one I'm just saying so if you're in this neck of the woods and you're looking for a spot this is it!
