This is a beautiful park! However the shower I used was in need of repair as only the lower nozzle worked.

This is a beautiful park! There are several different areas, whether you want tall pine trees or a view of the lake. Area A has a view of the lake and air-conditioned restrooms with showers, although in this area, there aren't full hookups (no sewer). In area E, you are surrounded by tall pine trees and have full hookups in most spots that I know of.

Park has some nice spaces in it, beautiful trees and a nice lake. You do have to choose between 50 amp or full hookups, no site has both.
Couple of things that could be better:
1) when arriving near the entrance there is a sign that says detour to the right. That takes you down some small two lane residential roads for about 2-3 mi. When we finally got the gate the attendant just laughed and said that wasn’t needed and “someone should take that down.”
2) there is an amazing lack of trash cans or nearby dumpsters for a state park. Nothing in walking distance from the sites, so only option is to load it in the truck and drop off on the way out. Just very odd since most parks make that more convenient.
For short stays it’s a good park, especially if you are ok with 30 amp power,

We really did not have a bad problem. We have camped there many times. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the restrooms. D loop was awful, I heard B loop was a little better. We were in D loop. We were out walking and my husband had to use the restroom. He walked in and out. It had to be pretty bad for him to walk out. Other than that, the station attendants were very friendly and accommodating. We will return soon.

Employees went above and beyond, we had a wasp issue in our shelter, they were very accommodating to remedy the situation.

The camp sites are great only thing we seen needed work was the bathrooms and showers they need totally redone. Bathrooms have no soap and theres no way to dry your hands the old hand dryer dont work anymore.
