This was a great campground. It seemed to be a popular spot, but didn't feel obnoxiously busy. Our kids loved the playground. It was also a nice treat to have full hookups. The proximity to town was good and we had a nice BBQ dinner on the state line at Naamans. My only critique would be to scatter more dumpsters throughout the campground. I had a hard time finding the dumpsters and when I finally did, it was inconvenient to dump a full trash bag on the way out because the exit to E Loop didn't pass the dumpsters, they were behind us. At least one dumpster at the bath house or one at each loop exit would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay here albeit brief.

Always love camping at Clear Springs, my favorite part is just getting to relax and enjoy the outside, although this time we had to deal with a little rain, but we will be back before summer is over!!

Our site e19 parking pad needs some work.the side facing the road which was our patio side and where we come out of our motorhome has washed off and it's a 3 to 4" drop-off it's unsafe and you can't set your chairs up to set under the awning. Other than that we love the park and the attendance they are very friendly

This is a beautiful park! However the shower I used was in need of repair as only the lower nozzle worked.

This is a beautiful park! There are several different areas, whether you want tall pine trees or a view of the lake. Area A has a view of the lake and air-conditioned restrooms with showers, although in this area, there aren't full hookups (no sewer). In area E, you are surrounded by tall pine trees and have full hookups in most spots that I know of.

Park has some nice spaces in it, beautiful trees and a nice lake. You do have to choose between 50 amp or full hookups, no site has both.
Couple of things that could be better:
1) when arriving near the entrance there is a sign that says detour to the right. That takes you down some small two lane residential roads for about 2-3 mi. When we finally got the gate the attendant just laughed and said that wasn’t needed and “someone should take that down.”
2) there is an amazing lack of trash cans or nearby dumpsters for a state park. Nothing in walking distance from the sites, so only option is to load it in the truck and drop off on the way out. Just very odd since most parks make that more convenient.
For short stays it’s a good park, especially if you are ok with 30 amp power,
