Everything was fine Gate attendants were very helpful and checked on us as we are older than most campers Phone and Internet connection was not good Would love to see WiFi installed Fishing was very good and lake level was good

This was our second stay at Clear Springs as a waypoint between Houston and Mountain Home Arkansas where our new grandbaby is.
We love how quiet this campground was. Clean bathroom and showers if needed since there aren’t sewer hookups but a dump station.
Great sites with good space around and between others.
A nice little nature trail for dog walks too.
Rained a lot so we didn’t get to try fishing out much but enjoyed a great Mexican food restaurant called Loca Luna for Cinco de Mayo recommended by the gate volunteer.
