What Guests Are Saying
Clear Springs Campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with beautiful lake views and plenty of wildlife, making it a peaceful and enjoyable spot for camping. The staff is professional and helpful, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. While some facilities, like certain campsites and bathrooms, could use improvements, the positive aspects far outweigh the negatives, leading many guests to return for future visits.

Camped in spot B3, with a 30' travel trailer for 4 nights. Site is on the water, with easy access, wonderful view of the lake. Worked well with our kayaks and paddle boards. Easy back in site but slopes up to 5" side to side. Full sun from mid morning till mid evening during the summer. Park is well kept. They have several short hiking/biking trails that are shady and well maintained. We also biked over to the Northshore park (day use) which is close by. City of Texarkana is close by (15 miles) for anything you might need. Would not hesitate to do it again.

Nice campground with gravel pads…long way to bathrooms/showers if you aren’t right by them (I know that sounds peculiar, but no “shortcuts” through wooded/long grass to get to them) pretty quiet as it seems (maybe) local folks leave RV/trailers there for weekend ‘dibs’ …great place to stay if you are heading to Austin area…

Would have been excellent except on arrival there was trash in the fire pit and on site. The Belton corp of Engineer park has people that actually blow off the sites and clean them. Several areas just needed to be cleaned up. Walking trails not being maintained. We love this park, (sewage system and air conditioned showers are great!) We hope it will be cleaned up and stay nice for years to come.
