We usually try to hit this campground early enough to see all the blooming dogwood trees and pelicans. We were a little late this year although we enjoyed our stay. We always eat at the Dixie Diner in Nash and we take a day trip to Jefferson.

Reservation was for A5, on a slope, uneven, and shared the covered picnic table area with another site. Moved to A14 which was great. Pretty area but rainy weather. Host’s very nice and accommodating. Didn’t use bathrooms.

The spot is beautiful with amazing view of the lake, and there was a short walk to the shore line.
But there was a bit of trash in the fire pit and all the toilets were clogged.

The side table is broke and the picnic table tilts when you sit on it. Not in good shape for a handicap spot.
