We were In a D-005 which was backed up to woods and had plenty of space. Sites were well kept and we loved the hiking trails all around the park. The staff was welcoming. There are deer in the park that are used to people and allow you to take a picture of them. The walk along the lake is stunning. .

We love Clear Spring campground. Maybe because we found it when we began camping in our 38 ft motorcoach. The campsites are spacious and well-maintained - in fact, when we were there in February, a worker was power-washing the concrete tables and pads surrounding firepits. If you can score a lakeside campsite, enjoy the sunsets.
