I’m absolutely in love with Hidden Cove Park. Dallas and the gang are super friendly and very attentive to the needs of the patrons and the park is always so well maintained and clean. The simple design of the cabins are perfect-they are like a tiny home on the lake with outdoor gazebo with a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. . The sunsets are absolutely glorious. Lots of wildlife running around. If you need a peaceful relaxing break I highly recommend Hidden Cove Park!

I wish zero stars were an option here. I wanted to go visit their new restaurant but they said at the gate that I still had to pay a $20 fee. And I turned around and left. That's a restaurant that won't last very long.

We travel full time, and this campground was an interesting experience. We chose it for its proximity to Frisco, and it earns 4 stars because the sites were full hookup, spacious, and level for a reasonable price (we paid $244 for a week).

A big reason I picked our specific site was the map showed a playground, but when we arrived, it wasn’t there. While I understand it’s Texas, there was also a lot of poison ivy and ants, which made it hard for the kids to run around and play—we felt a bit stuck inside.

We also found the $75 deposit for a camp site and lock on the electrical box unusual. We’ve stayed in 50+ campgrounds and have never experienced that.

Lastly, we were set to arrive after checkout but before check-in and were told we’d need to pay an early check-in fee. That felt like unnecessary nickel-and-diming so we killed time at Costco instead.

Cabin 181 is it! Great views and it’s one of the larger cabins.
Three couples stayed around the park and we all enjoyed the stay for a race event. All were clean and well maintained and stocked. If you are cooking bring measuring cups but most else is there.
My only complaint is there is very little water pressure. It’s a trickle at times and you are snug to the shower wall to get water on your head! No TVs! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill spot on a lake.

We had to come down last minute from Nebraska for a family emergency. We chose this park due to location to family and let me tell you it is SOOO nice.
The RV campsites are gorgeous and well maintained. The security guards at night are absolutely amazing. Very kind, helpful, and funny. The office people are too. The wildlife is beautiful to watch. All the other campers were so quiet and respectful also. 10/10 recommend this place. We will be back any time we visit the area. :)
