Vernon RV Park

We decided to try some place different as we pass through Vernon Texas. The owner is in the early stages of renovating the property and it will be nice to see the progression in the future. He was so accommodating. We called 20 minutes away like he said and when we arrived he was there to meet us. Level sights, full hookups and easy on and off Highway 287.
Great place to stay on your travels. Little bit of railroad noise but shouldn't stop you from trying this place out. Thank you once again for your friendliness and your hospitality. We will be back.

What a great find! While travelling through, our original planned overnight stop was full so we continued on toward Vernon. I was excited that Robbie, the owner, picked up at 8:30 pm! He had a spot and even met us at the entry upon our arrival and took us to the spot. Just what we needed to spend a quick 9 hours overnight.
This is large and mostly a work camp park with all the construction in town right now but they are working to add more sites. He has done a great job to provide for both local and travelling campers! We will definitely stop here again on future trips through

Stopped here late at night when everyone else for 150 miles was closed. Called at 11:30 at night after being on the road for 10 hours. The owner answered, said come on and I’ll find you a spot, he came out and helped us find our spot that late at night. This place is a must stop. Best service of any other RV park I’ve been too ! A Plus ++++ Down home country folks like me! Love It

Robbie, the new owner, could not be any nicer or more helpful!
We have a 32 foot fifth wheel and the pull through was so easy.
It’s not fancy but it’s clean and quiet. Easy access to Hwy 287.
I’ll stay here whenever traveling this way!!

New owner, remodeling, conveniently located. We booked at the last minute, four hours away eta after 10 pm and the owner was there to greet us when we arrived. Entry and exit was a breeze and the site, not yet remodeled, was very level. Traveling this direction as many as four times a year we will definitely be using this spot for our midway stay. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this property.
