The grass was over grown and full of stickers as well as campsites had crawfish in fire pit and was not cleaned from previous camper

We love camping at Waco's Airport Park. The water access is very good in most areas of the park. The sites are spacious, paved parking,and some have shade most of the day. The deer roam the park and are fun to see. The bath houses provide showers, toilets , and sinks. This helps keep from filling your RV tanks on long weekends. Go, relax, and enjoy our local lake!

We love camping at Waco's Airport Park. The water access is very good in most areas of the park. The sites are spacious, paved parking,and some have shade most of the day. The cabin wasn't cleaned well upon arrival. The grass around the cabin needed to be mowed. The bathrooms and showers are clean. The lake's water was so nice to swim in!!

We love Airport Park! The lake is so beautiful. Campsites are spread out nicely. Roads are great for riding bikes. Very quiet and peaceful, and so close to all the fun tourist things in Waco! We will definitely stay again!

We lost electricity and had to come home because my wife is unable to tolerate any heat
You refunded one day but we lost two days
We left before the time we should not have been charged for

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Park gates are locked at night; no vehicle entry from 10 pm to 6 am.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- You can stay a maximum of 14 days within any 30-day period at Waco Lake.
- Each campsite can accommodate 10 people and 4 vehicles maximum.
Safety & rules
- Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am; non-campers must leave by 10 pm.
- You must keep your campsite clean and collect trash regularly.
- Firearms, ammunition, fireworks, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Site types & loops
- You may have one RV/Trailer and either two tents or three tents at a campsite.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed at all times; leashes should be no longer than 6 feet.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the park.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed only in designated areas; cutting trees for firewood is prohibited, and fires are banned during burn bans.
Wildlife & food storage
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and use it on-site to protect forests.
Amenities
- Bounce houses are not allowed except in reserved shelters with a permit; water features are prohibited.
- Small swimming pools are allowed with specific size limits; they must be moved daily and supervised by an adult.
