lakeside campsite. all utilities worked. level & paved driveway. picnic table, bbq grille, and fire ring. easy water access and public showers & bathrooms pretty close. ample hd tv station reception.

Everything was as advertised. Great park showers were clean and plenty of hot water. Will stay there again.

Great park, IF you stay on US 78 to Airport Park Rd. DO NOT take any other route or you will be stuck. Pollinators attract to higher grasses & wildflowers where strips are mowed for access to fairly level & long enough 30 amp + water paved sites. Dump trash inside park bins BEFORE proceeding to Dump Station just outside gates. Inside roads please Bikers & hikers. First time COE "campers" in 40 ft rig towing, will look forward to others.

Shower near site 24 had virtually no "cold" water adjustment. Shower was VERY hot.

This is a very nice park, and I would stay there again. Limited shade if the temps are high. I do think they should limit the number of parked cars at each campsite. The campsite across from us had 4 vehicles.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Park gates are locked at night; no vehicle entry from 10 pm to 6 am.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- You can stay a maximum of 14 days within any 30-day period at Waco Lake.
- Each campsite can accommodate 10 people and 4 vehicles maximum.
Safety & rules
- Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am; non-campers must leave by 10 pm.
- You must keep your campsite clean and collect trash regularly.
- Firearms, ammunition, fireworks, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Site types & loops
- You may have one RV/Trailer and either two tents or three tents at a campsite.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed at all times; leashes should be no longer than 6 feet.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the park.
Fires & fuel
- Fires are allowed only in designated areas; cutting trees for firewood is prohibited, and fires are banned during burn bans.
Wildlife & food storage
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and use it on-site to protect forests.
Amenities
- Bounce houses are not allowed except in reserved shelters with a permit; water features are prohibited.
- Small swimming pools are allowed with specific size limits; they must be moved daily and supervised by an adult.
