Ummm....I really enjoy having this really nice park to camp out at. I live in Oklahoma and work in Waco during the week. Because I was in the US Army for two decades AND have a car I have PhD-level homeless people skills. I particularly like the tent sites and that they are so affordable. It is really nice to be in a gated community and have relative peace and quiet. They have really nice showers and bathroom facilities...everything I need.
I have only two criticisms of the three parks associated with Lake Waco. 1. I realize that it is necessary to enforce a limit on how many nights any one person can stay at any park. It precludes people from setting up semi-permanent living arrangements. The issue I have is that it also precludes me and others from camping out at one of the other parks within the same 30-day period. I come in near sundown and I have packed up and left before sunrise. I wish that the language allowed people in my category to break up my stay and sleep at one of the other parks.
2. It infuriated me early on how un-user-friendly recreation.gov is and it took a minute to learn how to navigate that website. When I have had to switch sites in the middle of the night because of the child disguised as an adult living next to me with every white light imaginable I could not merely switch sites utilizing the website. It would be a lot nicer if the camp host could facilitate changes after hours. Just sayin'.

Need Awnings on your tables, since there was no shade at all. Awnings would improve the the quality and outlook of the park.

Great place to camp. Love the atmosphere. Just wish we could get more rain to raise the lake back to where it should be.
