The location and campsites provide ample space like most public parks. But sadly, this park is being neglected or just has troubles maintaining their campsites....grass was two feet high, our fire ring was turned up on its side for no reason. Glad it was just a one-nighter for us on the way home. Sad.

Tall grass and poison ivy everywhere. Seclusion was nice but I guess most knew not to camp out there. Glad we only stayed one night.

restrooms needed a lot of updating or cleaning, grass and weeds were very tall, campsite hasn't been mowed for quite some time. The hiking trail was totally not marked and unpassable. Not a very good experience.

Park host was extremely helpful. Grass was 2 foot high. Bathroom was just nasty.grass burs were plentiful. Your pet will not like this park. We probably won't go back.
