Whispering Oaks RV Park

Thank you for the hospitality and conversation. The grounds were well kept. We felt completely safe there and it was very quiet and calming. The dog run was sizable and clean. There are plenty of shady spots. Will definitely be back. Btw, you can have Google remove negative reviews if they didn’t stay at your place. See you soon.

We stayed one night at Whispering Oaks. The park is very clean and well-maintained. It’s also very easy to access from I-10, which makes it convenient for a stop.

The only downside — and this isn’t the park’s fault — is the noise from the interstate and nearby train. If you’re a light sleeper, that’s something to be aware of. Other than the traffic and train noise, the property itself is well kept and comfortable.

This campground right along Interstate 10 is a great place to stop along your journey. Well maintained and clean. Restrooms very clean. Owners who also maintain the place are very nice.

We stayed there last week. Peaceful park. Loved hearing the train. Very clean dog park. Owner is very friendly and even provided a list of personally recommended restaurants nearby.

This is a nice park, but it is ran by 2 of the most hateful, most vulgar people ever!! I understand they have a leash rule for dogs, but unfortunately my dog can't read. My wife was bringing groceries into the camper and our small cocker spaniel was following her back and forth from the camper to the car and back. The manager Larry (says he owns the park, but I doubt that!) came up to her and cussed her for the dog being outside without a leash! The next day, our son parked on some gravel beside the dumpster and Larry cussed him for parking where he did (see pictures). Anyone would have presumed it was a parking spot! When I confronted Larry about his conduct, he threw us out of the park! He and his very vulgar wife Tammy still have not refunded the balance!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS RV PARK!!!!
Also, in every negative review, they always say the person leaving the review wasn't a registered guest, so I also posted a picture of my receipt!!!
