Lofers Bend West offers beautiful views and well-maintained campsites, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. The park is clean, quiet, and family-friendly, with great fishing opportunities and friendly staff. However, some areas, including restrooms, could benefit from maintenance and improved water quality.

Told us we had to evacuate. For no apparent reason. To this very day the lake never came up. Closed all 50 amp sites. We had to move. Moved to another site in the park and then they moved us back to the closed 59 amp site all in the same day. Wasted a whole day of our three day weekend moving in the heat and humidity. It was not an easy task. Park is in dire need of a lot of maintenance. Roads, trees, electrical boxes, fire pits, gravel around tables is being overgrown with stickers and weeds. Gate attendant is not at gate anymore so it’s free for all. No parking if you plan to park your trailer after you launch your boat as it’s being used for day use personal cars no trailers.

The facilities were not taken care of, in the fact that the bathrooms were out of toilet paper for several days. They weren’t cleaned or swept until a co-camper notified the home office. The lack of security had strangers come in at will and there was a family on our reserved spot. The general maintenance has been neglected and all restrooms in the park were unfit.

Great campsite with the perfect amount of privacy. Were a lot of ants near the water but didn’t seem to bother us!

There was never anyone at the gate. The bathrooms needed attention lights where out and no toilet paper. Could only het one toilet to flush and then it continued to flush for I don't know how long as I left it after several minutes. Went to the day area to take showers as it wasuch cleaner.

Beautiful lake, grass was tall for the first week we were there, they mowed it the next weekend, a few days before Memorial Day. They do not have gate people during the day, to monitor who comes in and out. So you do not feel safe using the public restroom’s and showers. I hope that the park goes back to having the gate people. They did a wonderful job, and were good ambassadors for the park system. We have young children and pets, elderly people and need a safe place to go.
