I loved the site and the park very clean place. We had so much fun swimming and fishing.Definitely recommend. As for phone service I have Cricket and it worked great for us.

Best campground ever! The gentleman at the gate is always very friendly, the grounds itself is always clean, lots of beautiful views, and we never have problems with other campers. This has become our "spot" and this campground and the surrounding area is a very special place for us. We live about an hour and 45 minutes away and always count down the days until we can come back. We love it here so much that coming home is usually a bittersweet affair! W08 was the first reservation we ever had and it's a great spot. Private enough with awesome views. We're coming back next month with a different spot reserved and this time my parents are coming with us to finally check out the campground we are always raving about!

Beautiful area. Lots of deer. We stayed during the week was very quiet and relaxing. Hosts were nice and helpful. They did have warm showers. Lots of shore line for fishing. Definitely we will be back.

From I-35 in Hillsboro, take Hwy 22 west 12 miles to Whitney, continue 7 miles past Whitney, and turn right before dam. Follow park road to 4-way stop. Turn left for West Lofers or right for East Lofers.
Lofers Bend West is accessible via US Highway 377, approximately 10 miles to the east.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Gates have specific opening and closing times.
- Contact the Whitney Lake Project Office for information and burn ban restrictions.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Fishing requires a valid fishing license at Lake Whitney parks.
Vehicles & parking
- Each campsite allows a maximum of three vehicles, excluding group sites.
Site types & loops
- ATVs and OHVs are prohibited.
Fires & fuel
- Purchase firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
