Campground is a go to place for us. It sits on the lake and has some great views. My only complaint would be the restrooms (toilet seats) could use updating. Other than that we recommend this campground.

The entire time we were camping at this campground the restrooms and shower room was never cleaned. It had an undesirable smell also. Make sure you have toilet paper with you as that was in short supply.

The site was a little close to another neighbor who was loud, there were a lot of stickers, and in a lot of sun, but other than that, it was a great view and we had fun.

You home agents and software is serious lacking. Dec 30 2021 reservation for Space 48 was charged $10 two times to my debit card ending in 9291 but declined by phone agent as declined but showed in my bank statement first with 2 charges and next day one charge for $10. and one later as single charge of$10. The problem is that your agent declined payment two times on my visa bank card 9291and accepted $10 for payment on my master card ending in 9811. I have paid two time for the same reservation. Secondly, if you try to change or adjust the reservation on line it will not work ever. So when I cancelled the reservation to correct the original reservation I get a refund fee charge of $10. I lost again.
I needed credited $20 for Dec30 for excessive 3 charges for the same site 48W. Please respond.

From I-35 in Hillsboro, take Hwy 22 west 12 miles to Whitney, continue 7 miles past Whitney, and turn right before dam. Follow park road to 4-way stop. Turn left for West Lofers or right for East Lofers.
Lofers Bend West is accessible via US Highway 377, approximately 10 miles to the east.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Gates have specific opening and closing times.
- Contact the Whitney Lake Project Office for information and burn ban restrictions.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Each campsite allows a maximum of three vehicles, excluding group sites.
