Nice campground with clean showers and bathrooms, no hiking or bike trails. But a very good fishing lake. No fishing piers but no problem fishing from the bank.

Our stay was marked by heavy rain for several days. The campsite (#53) drained well. This park is the best maintained Corps of Engineers park that we have ever visited. The grass is mowed frequently, trees are pruned as needed, and they actually have a crew that power washes the picnic tables and concrete surfaces around them between campers. Nice boat ramp and parking area, too.

The campground is very scenic lots of trees and shade and super views of the lake. The park host take great care of the people camping. I want to thank the park host for excellent customer service. Also the bathrooms are very clean and I want to thank the cleaning crew. The park has plenty of great RV camp and tent sites. You will see deer in the evening and lots of birds all day long. Again thanks to the park host for all they do for the campers.
