Playground was closed off so the kids couldnβt play, grass needed to be mowed and needs a light at the boat ramp.

I was very disappointed about day use in the camping area. We had 6 vechiles in the camp site in front of us. They parked on the grass and trashed the beach. We seem another camper cleaning up the beach area. We have been coming for 40 years was disappointed abour the day users in the camp site area.

The bathroom facilities were in poor condition. When I showered the water wouldnβt drain so I would be standing in ankle deep water. Typically most campsite parks allow 2 cars per campsite but at McCown there was cars parked everywhere. In the grass, side of the road and it just seemed super crowded.

This is my favorite Texas park. Itβs clean and well maintained. The park host was friendly, competent and flexible. The equestrian camps are well organized with water, electricity, showers, stalls and tie poles. There are miles of equestrian trails that are scenic, sandy and shady. I definitely recommend this park for your equestrian camping adventures!

We love this park. The people are friendly. I just wish they would have mowed and had the grounds more manicured

My site was so unlevel that my autoleveler could not level my trailer. Also, the grass was overdue for mowing. Otherwise. the park is pretty nice.
