The Cedars Ranch

My husband, dog, and I had the most cozy stay at The Cedars Ranch. There are so many amenities and we loved getting to have such a nice experience and still feel like we were in nature. We loved running around the grounds, using the cold plunge and sauna for recovery, and then relaxing in our Eco Yurt after. It was so much fun. We were able to connect easily to wifi and work when needed but it was a really great reset. Highly recommend this place!

I loved my stay at The Cedars Ranch. This was such a peaceful getaway. From the room ( I stayed in the Geodome ) to the actual resort it was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. I will definitely be back.

One thing that I enjoyed that I hope they bring back is the stargazing event. The weekend I visited they just so happened to have an astronomer set up on the resort with a telescope. He gave an amazing lesson on the solar system and allowed us to stargaze.

What a phenomenal stay! My friend and I stayed in the XL Dome and waking up to the calming view and sound of nature every morning was divine. The text notifications prior to the stay gave us everything we needed to know prior to arriving. When we arrived we were greeted with a "cosmo kit" and letter from the property for the Stargazing night that weekend. We had a blast by the pool area grilling up dinner then walking over to the lounge to play pool and sit by a fire.

Coffee was provided to make in the room along with a fridge and kitchenette to store our food. We drove a short 10-15 min over to "Two Moons Trial" for horseback riding and after cruised over to the lively, yet quaint town nearby for shopping and dinner. That same night, Cedar Ranch hosted an astronomer who brought a HUGE telescope to see the planets and stars. The experience was "out of this world" to say the least and the astronomer was extremely insightful, kind and personable.

We took one last coffee walk around the property in the morning, played a round of Pickle Ball on the beautiful courts nestled in the trees and ended with a sauna and cold plunge. Check-out was easy and staff was helpful the whole time. 11/10 stay with Cedar Ranch and I would highly recommend!

Our stay at The Cedars Ranch was absolutely amazing. The cabins are so cozy and comfortable, and the property has so much to offer, from the beautiful luxury pool to the fun playground area for kids and even pickleball courts. The location is perfect, close to several great restaurants and shopping centers, which made everything super convenient. This was by far one of my favorite stays! If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway or a romantic weekend I highly recommend The Cedars Ranch.

I stayed in the Gran Mesquite #9, and honestly, words or pictures can’t describe how beautiful this place is! It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or any type of vacation stay. The cabin is cozy, spotless, and the beds are so comfortable.

The ranch amenities are amazing — we enjoyed the pool, pickleball court, sauna, and firepit! I got to spend one night here with my husband and another with my family, and both experiences were absolutely perfect. It’s also super close to downtown Wimberley, so it’s easy to explore and be back in no time.

The only thing I’ll note is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit slow — but honestly, that just makes it even better for disconnecting and enjoying nature. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven! 💕
