Magnolia Ridge is praised for its quiet, peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination for many. Campers enjoy spacious sites with beautiful views of nature, including wildlife sightings like alligators. While there are concerns about the water access and mosquito presence, overall experiences highlight the campground's charm and the friendliness of the staff.

First time to this Corps of Engineers campground. We stayed one week in sight 19. Very spacious with lots of room, level site. Kayaked Amongst the gators and fished, Crappie are plentiful here. No bugs in March but I imagine there are lots in the summertime. This is a large park and there’s a lot of the roads to bicycle. There’s a bonus kids only fishing pond on site. Peaceful and quiet in the camp host friendly and keep this place very clean.
We would definitely return.

The campsite was clean and had a nice view of the water. I really enjoy the fact that the campground is not overcrowded with people. The campsites are spread out and you are not totally surrounded by other campers. If you don't like going to some of the state parks because of the crowds, I would highly recommend this campground. And unlike state parks, you can gather your own firewood here. That is a nice bonus.
