This park was extremely well maintained. We made friends with some alligators that lives behind our site in the lake, and by making friends I mean we watched and took pictures only. We didnβt feed them or go in the water. Our site was about 1/8 of a mile from the next one with tons of huge magnolias and pines. Hosts were extremely nice and helpful!

This park is always clean and well managed. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers to accommodate everyone and the road coming into the park and the ones inside are well maintained. Shout out to hosts Lisa and Ken who are always great! We come here often and the last trip we saw so much wildlife. We saw plenty of deer, so many rabbits we couldn't count them, raccoons, opossum, armadillo, an owl and many water birds and songbirds. We've already booked another trip to try a spot in another area of the park and introduce family to our favorite campground.

The attendants go through your stuff while your there and blame you for what the wild life animals do. I will NOT be back there had very bad experience

Great Hosts that clearly care about being friendly and having clean sites for the guests!
They even hosed off the entire site, drive way, pad and table areas.
This was my fourth stay here when passing through Texas.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Reserved campsites will be held until checkout time the day after arrival; after that, they will be considered a no-show.
- The park entrance gate closes at night; vehicles may exit but cannot re-enter until morning without the gate code from the email receipt.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- Campsites are limited to two camping structures and a maximum of eight occupants. Camping is restricted to designated sites for up to 14 days within a 30-day period, with a limit of two vehicles per site.
Local regulations
- All guests must follow Title 36 rules, or they may face citations or expulsion from the park.
Site types & loops
- Water-based and inflatable toys and objects are prohibited in the park.
- 30 Amp sites are exclusively for 30 Amp campers, while 50 Amp sites can accommodate both 30 and 50 Amp campers.
Safety & rules
- Generators are not allowed in the park.
- Fire ants are present in the park; do not disturb their mounds to avoid painful stings, especially for children.
Utilities
- Sewer hook-ups are not available; only a dump station is provided.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles, including golf carts and unregistered vehicles, are not allowed in the park.
