Could have been 5 star if Park had some TLC. All RV pads need work. Most trees need trimming. Several had dead trees near where RV is on pad. Bathrooms were clean, but showing wear and tear, but what do you expect when lowest bid wins contact. Several sites had water leaks, oh well maybe when they get new manager things will improve, can only hope.

Want you to know that the park attendants, both couples, were excellent hosts. The maintenance young lady was very thorough in cleaning the restrooms and showers. Thank y’all for the pleasant and relaxing experience.

We liked the layout of the bathhouse but one section was under maintenance.

Enjoy our stay at this park. We would be more at home if we could leave early (before 10am) to get donuts or other breakfast and then get back in park before 10 am. Gates are locked from 10am until 10 pm. A coded gate would be so helpful.

Excellent base for visiting Dallas area. We hiked to Avalon Park, which was pleasant. We camped in the Equestrian area, which was surprisingly busy, though no horses. The site was solid and level. The bathhouse had hot water on a cold night. But the bathhouse has poor lighting, so bring your own light.
