This park has potential to be incredible but is obviously neglected. What a shame. Bathroom roof leaks, grass not kept mowed, roads are terrible, many potholes. Day use area looks ran down, in need of repairs. The covered picnic tables are very nice. It was quiet and peaceful.

This was a nice and peaceful place to spend a few days. I enjoyed watching all the birds on the lake. The Camp Hosts do a great job.
I hope to come back

Electricity poles were intermittently working we had to move twice. Our first site 18 power poles quit working so they moved us to site 1, then site 1 also started having power issues of intermittently working. They had 18 repaired so we moved back to 18. A hassel moving back and forth. Everything else was ok. Bathrooms and showers could use updating.

Our site was clean and ready for our use. Internet and phone service was available.
Roads could use improvement, but basically the same for the last 10 years or so. Park hosts are friendly and are helpful above and beyond when needed.

GO ELSEWHERE! This park is not well maintained. The blacktop pad was in horrible shape. If you walked outside your camper, you better watch where you step or you'll be stumbling. The picnic table was full of something sticky that had been spilled. It was also covered in chalk "artwork". The women's bathroom... yuck!!! 3 toilets. One was full of toilet paper and S**T, it was obvious by the toilet paper on the floor that it had overflowed. It was like this for 2 days. The shower......... no shower head in one shower, turn it on the water ran down the wall. The 2nd shower had a soda bottle with the bottom cut out, taped to where the shower head should have been. The woman that comes around to check you in was obviously on a power trip. Check in was fine. She said she locks the entry gate at 10pm and doesn't unlock it until 10AM! Other COE parks also locked the gate at 10pm, but they were unlocked by 7AM.. Several sites were obviously seasonal sites and not well kept. I warned you... :-) I wish i had taken photos...

I love this campsite and I’ve been to it quite a few times. The restrooms are clean and Anne, the host, is an absolute doll. Her spouse is one of integrity and family (for those military service members and their spouses). This site is less than 10 minutes from my house. I’ve been to ones as far north as New Hampshire and Maine. I love this site and your safety is of their optimist importance.
P.s yes you have reception and GORGEOUS views of the lake

Cannot give this location enough stars. By far my favorite COE park. The host was terrific. The park and location were great. Camping is seperate from day use so no excessive traffic. Day use area was pretty run down. Looks like a good area for boats and fishing

The people running the park were working under serious difficulties. The water was off, they were being told the park would close. They kept up their professionalism and integrity. I say, "Give them a raise!"
