Had a nice weekend even though it rained on Saturday. Campsite was good, maybe need to keep grass areas mowed. Bathrooms were clean for the most part, but the wife decided to shower in travel trailer due to no hot water in one of the stalls and there was only one other one available but in use.
Roads and RV/TT parking pavement needs improvement,
If you are camping over the weekend, We would definitely suggest you arriving early due to Awful traffic coming from the Lucas area.
On a Good Note, the live in park attendant was very welcoming and helpful in giving us information on the Clear Lake and a couple of other parks at Lake Lavon. We left early (due to more rainstorms) and was actually contacted by Her. She wanted to confirm we checked out early, and after confirming she gave us a partial refund! This is definitely a plus for this park. Keep up the Good work and keep pushing to improve Clear Lake Park!

This park has potential to be incredible but is obviously neglected. What a shame. Bathroom roof leaks, grass not kept mowed, roads are terrible, many potholes. Day use area looks ran down, in need of repairs. The covered picnic tables are very nice. It was quiet and peaceful.

This was a nice and peaceful place to spend a few days. I enjoyed watching all the birds on the lake. The Camp Hosts do a great job.
I hope to come back

Electricity poles were intermittently working we had to move twice. Our first site 18 power poles quit working so they moved us to site 1, then site 1 also started having power issues of intermittently working. They had 18 repaired so we moved back to 18. A hassel moving back and forth. Everything else was ok. Bathrooms and showers could use updating.
